Hello, I’m Miquel Bauzà, founder of LF91…
And what I enjoy most is walking across my island, Mallorca.
I like walking for hours, in silence, watching the sun rise by the sea or from the top of a mountain.
Feeling connected to myself, thinking about everything I’m going to do in the new day.
I also enjoy building homes for other people, with the same care as if I were building them for myself.
This is something I’ve been doing since I was 30 years old.
And how did it all begin?
With a house that an aunt of mine gave me in Pollença, in the north of the island, more than 30 years ago.
It was an old house that needed a major renovation.
And I did it. With my own hands.
And when it was finished, I sold it.
That’s when I knew this was what I would dedicate my entire life to.
(Who would have told me back then that I would go on to build more than 400 homes, and have a construction and design company with more than 100 workers that I feel are part of my family)…
In my work, what matters most to me is that things get done. That’s something I’m obsessed with.
Because if things don’t move forward, they stagnate. And that’s not good.
As a child, I wasn’t a good student, to be honest.
But I was a great observer.
I noticed every detail, I paid attention to everything.
That’s how I learned.
And how, even today, I keep learning.
My greatest wish is that our clients are happy.
To give them the best.
To repay the trust they’ve placed in us.
I also learn many things from our clients.
They teach me a lot.
The key is mutual trust.
Many of them are now my friends.
Friends from all over the world.
People for whom I’ve built their home,
a home where they and their families are happy.
Or for whom I’ve built their hotels,
their restaurants, their shops, their offices,
where they bring their dreams to life.
What more could one ask for?
